Meet the Team

Miss Bryseia Konkin

Hello! My name is Miss Konkin and I have been training in Taekwondo for 17 years and teaching it for about 8 years. I was a participant in the 2012 International Children’s Games and now I have the honour of returning to the same host city as head coach for our 2023 team. I enjoy competing in Poomsae and I strive to teach and train my students to be the best they can be physically, mentally, and morally.

Miss Konkin is the head instructor at Kees Taekwondo in Lake Country.

Kya

I'm Kya C., I'm 14, and I'm a black belt in Taekwondo.  I was honoured to receive the invitation for the 2023 International Children's Games in Daegu, South Korea.  I am extremely ecstatic about this amazing opportunity because I see this as a way to inspire young children and show them that they can be anything they want to become as long as they give it all they've got.  I can do all of this and at the same time make one of my dreams come true.
